Soil Core Liner

These Soil Core Liners function as sample retaining cylinders when used in the Soil Core Sampler for obtaining a representative and mostly undisturbed sample of soil.

The liners are thin walled cylinders of the selected clear or metallic material that fit snugly into a soil coring cylinder. As the coring cylinder is advanced the soil core is pushed into the liner in a mostly intact and representative condition. The liner can then be removed to examine the soil core without the sample falling apart.

Plastic Caps seal the ends of liners to help prevent loss of volatiles.

Teflon Swatches are available to line the caps to prevent sample contact with possible leaching or absorbing materials.
